Pretty Rice Grown by "Idol Time Pripara" Yui Yumekawa is Now Available for Pre-order

As the first phase of "Minna no Furusato Ouen Project" (A project to support everyone's hometown), which was launched as part of the 10th-anniversary project for the Pretty Series, the "Akitakomachi Pretty Rice" is now available for pre-order.

The project has been operated by a Tokyo-based company Mashup to promote local specialties and famous places across Japan. Yui Yumekawa, a rice-loving idol from Idol Time Pripara, has served as a tourism ambassador for the town of Ugo in Akita Prefecture in order to spread the deliciousness and appeal of Akitakomachi, a premium short-grain rice originally from the prefecture.

In March, Mayor Yutaka Ando of the town of Ugo gave Yui a rice field as a gift. Then in May, "Yui Kids," local children who support Yui, planted rice.

The harvested rice will be named "Pretty Rice Grown by Yui Yumekawa." It will be delivered in late November in a package with a newly drawn illustration of Yui and her brother Shogo. Pre-order for the 5kg bag is now available on AMO CAFE WEB SHOP at the price of 5,940 yen (about 54.2 USD).
