June 2, on the release day of voice actress Aya Uchida (Kotori Minami in Love Live!)'s fifth single "Pale Blue" in Japan, her official YouTube channel posted a full music video for the song for the first time.
The refreshing pop tune is now used as the ED theme for the spring 2021 TV anime Let's Make a Mug Too. Its music video is cut into a square, just like the jacket photo. Uchida performs in a big mug that goes around and around, and the worldview of the song is expressed by scenes that are reminiscent of the ending movie of the anime.
She writes on Twitter, "The release day has come so fast...! It's been about a year and three months since my last single. I'm sure that many things have happened to everyone during this period. But, because we're living in such a time, I made 'Pale Blue" and (the single's coupling song) 'Destiny' with a sole desire to make everyone smile. Please listen to them a lot and tell me what you think!"
