Another Story Begins in Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san Theme Song Teaser Music Video

June 4, on the much-awaited theatrical release day of the anime feature film Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san / Pompo: The Cinéphile in Japan, a 60-second teaser music video for its theme song "Mado wo Akete" (Open the Window) performed by virtual female singe CIEL was posted on YouTube.

CIEL is introduced as "a cross-border type female singer who travels between the real and the virtual. Blue hair is the color of the sky." She was found in an audition held by KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO at the end of 2019 for singers under the age of 20.

She was chosen by director Takayuki Hirao (GOD EATER) as the theme song singer for the film, and "Mado wo Akete," written/composed/arranged by acclaimed vocaloid song producer Iori Kanzaki, is released as her major debut digital single today. The music video for the song is directed by Hirao himself, and its whole story will be revealed in the full-version video that is scheduled to be posted soon.
